I loved the rooms at Chaweng Chalet! They had everything I needed - a comfy bed, a TV with lots of channels, and a minibar for my snacks. The colors in the room were so soothing and really made me feel relaxed. Plus, having a private bathroom was a bonus!
I wasn't a big fan of the size of the refrigerator in the room. It was a bit small for my liking, but hey, that's just me.

The location was bangin' - right in the heart of the action! We hit up the full moon party at Haad Rin Beach and had a wild time dancing our hearts out under the neon lights. And let me tell you, the water sports were off the hook! We jet-skied like madmen, parasailed with the birds, and even took a shot at wakeboarding. If you're all about adventure and non-stop excitement, this is the place to be!
If there was one thing we could've used more of, it would be a killer pool party! Don't get me wrong, the beach was dope, but we teenagers love to make a splash.

The bungalows were clean and spacious, with daily cleaning service. The beach was just a short walk away, and there was a nice beachfront restaurant with delicious food. The location was perfect, away from the noise but still within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and nightlife.
There was no in-room safe, which was inconvenient for storing valuables. The lack of mosquito control made it difficult to enjoy the outdoor areas without being constantly attacked.

I liked the single bungalows, they were close to the beach, clean and efficient.
They did not have free wireless as they advertised, breakfast did not come with the room as advertised, and their taxi prices were higher than advertised.

The staff at the Chaweng Chalet are fantastic. They were so friendly and welcoming, they really made staying there a pleasure. The restaurant on the beach is the best part, it's modern, has good food, the same friendly staff and they make a great cocktail for next to nothing compared to in Australia. You can eat at a table on the beach itself after around 6pm. The location is perfect for shopping. It's literally just up from a ton of market stalls and proper shops.
Ok, well, you get what you pay for. We just had one night to stay over before flying out so we opted for something cheap and ended up paying maybe $25 or $27 for the night. The room smelled a bit damp/mouldy, the main lights didn't work & the toilet they ask kindly not to flush toilet paper down, however, there is no lid on the bin provided....you can work that general hygiene issue out for yourself. The beds are a bit hard but we'd come from practically sleeping on a wooden door for a week so it was actually comfortable enough....as I say, the staff make this place, it's cheap and it's right in the middle of everything you need shopping&beach wise but you will be well looked after here.

Location in the middle of the shopping area. Nice and friendly staffs.
Lots of mosquitos around and some in the rooms. No parking spaces. Breakfast start at 8.30am local time yet most booked activities assembly time was 8am or 9am. Thus either no time or too little allowance for breakfast. Lastly, number of TV channels are limited. There is no sports channel like ESPN or Star Sports.

Affordable beachfront bungalows with spacious rooms. Enjoyed the soft pillows and the convenience of a refrigerator. The beach was beautiful, but the water depth was shallow. Staff was friendly and helpful. The location was great, with just a short walk to the main street and the beach. I would recommend this hotel for a budget-friendly stay.

I absolutely adored the rustic and charming décor of the bungalows at Chaweng Chalet. The salmon red rough plaster walls and furniture made of logs gave it a cozy and homely feel. It reminded me of a quaint countryside cottage. The overall ambiance was perfect for a senior woman like me, as it exuded a warm and welcoming atmosphere. , the hotel's accessible location near Chaweng main street made it convenient for me to explore and enjoy the heart of the action without any hassle.
I would have preferred if the staff at the hotel were a bit more attentive to the needs and preferences of senior guests like myself. Having the children working there pay a little more attention to our specific requirements would have definitely made the vacation even more enjoyable.

Great location near shops and dining. Comfy beds, hot water showers, and spacious rooms with Thai-inspired chalet design. Friendly and helpful staff. Close to beautiful beaches with sand banks and ankle-deep water, perfect for children.
Felt like family, no complaints at all.

We had an amazing time at this beachside chalet. The location was perfect, right on the beautiful beach of North Chaweng. The room had everything we needed, including a comfortable bed and a clean bathroom. The staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. Plus, the breakfast was delicious, giving us a great start to our day.
There was some construction going on nearby, which was a bit noisy at times.
